Hi,
my name is Faith and I am a big fan of Sugar and her friends.
I first learned about Sugar and this online comic strip on kittypix on LiveJournal, gosh it's probably been a couple of years ago now. I check back often for updates and tell my friends to check it out too!
I have 4 cats right now.
Dolly(a lavender point with blue eyes) will be 15 in about 3 weeks. She is the queen and very fierce in defending her ownership of me.
Fluffy(a seal point with blue eyes) is her daughter who turned 14 last March. Fluffy is the sweetest tempered cat, just loves to be with someone in the fam and asks for pets a lot. She is rather fragile and in poor health right now.
Tigger(a flame point with the most amazing blue eyes) is 20 months and an alpha male who knows we are all here for his pleasure. He is my fav to take pics of.
China(an all white with copper colored eyes) is our youngest. She will be 1 the end of this month. She is has a wild streak but loves to be petted and actually talks to me more than any cat I"ve ever had.
They are all rescues or children of rescues that I adopted.
I'm glad you started this forum.
I wish I could do with my cats what you are doing in your comic strip with yours!

Thanks for being the first fan to register and post! I know most people wait until a form is going full swing before they want to join, so we really appreciate you jumping right in. We'd love to see pictures of your cats, and you're also welcome to post a link to your site from the links section, just link us back if you can.

Fluffy has good days, she still seems to enjoy her life and our company and that is what I am watching for.
why are you one-handed?

I had hand surgery on Tuesday.

In this week's announcement I talked about her hand surgery a little bit. Tania may talk about it more once she's able to type better, but I realized I hadn't even mentioned it much in recent news updates... oops!

Tania,
I wasn't sure where to wrote this but last month my Fluffy's health deteriorated so badly we finally made the decision it was time, she was just too miserable and had obviously stopped enjoying life. So, I took her to the vet and they were very helpful in my saying goodbye and now she is no longer with us. It was really hard to do. She was 14 1/2 and the sweetest cat I ever have known. Never cross or demanding. Just wanted love and pets and to love on us.

Faith, I am so, so sorry for your loss. I don't really know what else to say except that, even though I feel like I should have more to say. *hugs*
