4/22/2007 Rob: The weather is finally nice again, here in Maryland. SnowCrash and Kosette have been lounging by the back door, begging to go outside. We've taken them out both days this weekend, and I'm dreading having to start cutting the grass again. The alternative is losing cats in the back yard and gaining snakes that might come up to the house from the woods, so I suppose I'd better get on it. I'll have to get some pictures of them outside soon, but it's difficult since SnowCrash keeps mugging for the camera every time he notices I'm taking his picture.
Kosette apparently does get quite hot in her grey fur, and ran back inside after only a few minutes outside today. SnowCrash stays pretty cool, though the black spot on his head and tail do get much warmer than the rest of his fur. They've both been shedding more recently, losing their winter coats yet again since the weather has been cycling hot to cold so much over the past month or two. We're having a guest visit starting next weekend who is allergic, so looks like I'll have more vaccuuming to do than usual to keep the hair levels minimal.
Sugar apparently wasn't feeling well the past few days. She was staying in the bed in her room most of the time, and lost interest in her special food we purchased from the vet to help lower her kidney levels. She's on my lap now and I've been feeding her the food Kosette and SnowCrash eat yesterday and today, and she seems to be more interested in it. Hopefully she'll get back to her usual physically-fit (but mentally psycho) self soon.
