4/1/2007 Rob: SnowCrash and Kosette have gotten to go outside twice over the weekend, and enjoyed it greatly. Kosette is starting to get brave and walk out into the yard. I have to watch her closely, since she won't allow us to put a harness and leash on her like SnowCrash. He's very well behaved, as always, and gets all excited as soon as he sees me holding his leash and harness. I've never known a cat to purr as much as he does, but he's apparently one happy guy just living with us. He was knocking around things in our bathroom this morning while we were sleeping, and he started purring like crazy when I went and picked him up. In the evenings when Tania and I are playing our gameboys on our bed before reading, he'll curl up on the bed by Sugar and start purring so loudly it sometimes wakes her up.
Sugar went to the vet's yesterday and we're having full bloodwork run on her. She's been yowling to be let out of my office at night instead of sleeping until morning on a regular basis, and been acting somewhat confused at times. So far it looks as though she's losing her mind, but I could have told you that without paying a large vet bill. Hopefully she has a more treatable problem, so that we'll be able to get a full night's sleep again. Thankfully Kosette and SnowCrash have been well-behaved at night, not even fussing to be let out of the laundry room when Sugar makes a racket.
