3/18/2007 Rob: Sorry for the lack of a comic last weekend, but we were about five hours away from home, visiting my sister. Missing a weekend of rest really messes with my health, so I've been running on empty until yesterday when I could finally sleep in. The cats seemed to miss us a great deal as usual, so they've been attacking our bed en masse every chance they get. I really should have gotten a picture of the three of them on our bed this morning, but I was too busy trying to find a way to safely roll over and a place to put my feet without disloding a feline.
Actually last Sunday was SnowCrash's birthday (approximately), but I don't think he noticed. I found him hanging out in his lair on the top bunk in our guest bedroom and he was ready as soon as he saw me pull out my camera. He began rolling towards me, squirming and posing and generally trying to get attention by being as cute as possible and exposing plenty of his ample belly in need of rubbing. The 'little guy' has gotten big, but he's still the most agile and active cat we have. Despite Sugar being the Siamese, SnowCrash is tied for being the most talkative cat, and it's hard to deny him kibble when he asks so piteously for it. Although we limit their shared daily intake, I think Kosette has been kindly stepping aside every time her boyfriend asks her for her food. I suppose desperate female cats will do anything for love, but I was certain that kibble was her first love, and SnowCrash merely her second.
