3/4/2007 Rob: Today is a Kosette comic because Kosette was docile (well, lazy anyway) and a willing picture target. Consider it a boon to all of you fans who prefer Kosette over the much cooler cats like SnowCrash....not that I'm biased or anything. It was hard to get Kosette to look away from Mr. Yellow for some reason. She seemed mesmerized and wouldn't put her head back down so I could get the last shot of her thinking privately as he commented. Perhaps there's something threatening about a yellow duck cat toy being held a few feet away from your head...
In any case, the Transformers live action movie has me excited. The initial news had me more excited, but then I heard Michael Bay was in charge. Now that I've seen the trailers that show some actual Transformer robot action, I'm a tad scared as to what horrors they will do to my beloved Autobots and Decepticons. The robots look ridiculously CGI'ed and overdone. They seem to have been re-designed quite a bit from the comic series, and I don't think any new designs were needed, just a decent degree of non-cartoony realism. CGI seems to be like crack for movies these days...The Hulk movie being foremost in my mind. Oh well, technology is dangerously addictive, or I wouldn't be making comics out of digital pictures of my cats for the viewing pleasure of people across the world whom I've never met...
