2/4/2007 Rob: I had wanted to get more of the dialogue between Sugar and Obi-Wan, but unfortunately Sugar was... grumpy. That and she doesn't turn out well on camera when she's basking in the sun, since her black versus bright colors makes it difficult to see anything more than a shadow... of evil. Besides, SnowCrash had been hiding out in the top bunk in the guest room for hours, chirping at me everytime I walked by, so I knew he wanted some attention.
As soon as I held up the Obi-Wan figure, he started rubbing against it, biting it, and eventually whacking it. That cat is so reliably photogenic that sometimes I think he's worth a comic all to himself. Kosette was sleeping face-down on the couch in the front room all morning, so she wasn't up for doing anything interesting. We really need to find a way to get better pictures of Auron during the daytime. The only time I get much clarity in his tank is at night when the tank lights are on and he's near the side. Since he's been tunneling under the log in his tank and hiding there, it's going to continue to be a challenge.
