1/14/2007 Rob: SnowCrash was feeling somewhat tired out today, apparently. Otherwise he would have tried to eat the Obi-Wan action figure once more, as he's prone to do with plastic. Lately we've watched him climb up the bookshelf in our bedroom in order to grab a plastic plant (formerly from a fish tank), pull it down, and begin batting it around on the floor. Several times over the past few days we've put it back, but he remembers where it is and just pulls it down again next time we're in the room and he gets bored. If only we could train him to fetch useful things...
Auron may actually be Auroness. The jury is still out, but he/she shed his/her shell yesterday and some mysterious egg-like sacs showed up in the tank. His/her claw is growing back quite rapidly since we purchased him/her from the fish store where it was apparently lost in a fight with another crayfish. Hopefully we'll find out soon one way or the other so I can settle on a gender and save some typing.
